Hey all - I had to go dark for a bit due to some unexpected career stuff and a move out of OH to TX. All positive changes. But I read daily and fend off the texts from @giles. Now that the dust has settled I will contribute more and catch up on the podcast series. My food probably won’t be as good as @triple_duece or @the Lackster, and I won’t be as detailed as @Wildlife, but I will try to keep you all up to date on my exploits out here and maybe even try to share some footage! Should get the chance to hunt OH this year also. Anyway, wishing everyone well and looking forward to seeing some antler.

Did you buy a Ohio lifetime license while you were there? I believe Ohio would honor it after moving out of state if you already have it. It would save lots of money vs buying a non resident license every year.

Welcome back. Texas offers a lot of hunting and copious amounts of them. Exotics, deer, sheep, hogs, dove, ducks and even quail. Top notch fishing fresh and salt water. Most of the above has a dollar value since most is leased and fishing is free tho. Stay close to the shitter as most food is prepared for lots of flavor unlike the bland shit up nort.

We got here right after. Whole neighborhood getting new shingles, ours got done right before we took possession. Definitely a big change from living in a chicken coop and pig pen for the first few years of their lives, but they’re all great. Thanks for asking!

Rodeo in Fort Worth every weekend, they’re all loving that and pumped for the big move from Vegas next year.

Scotch is my preference but had to give this a try. Didn’t disappoint.
