Update. I don’t know what the big one weighed but the two I brought home was 65 and 70#. The 70# one is on ice. Shell being cured and still have to boil the head for a skull mount and pull the claws off the feet.

So since my turtle event, the shell is drying out, got like 22# of meat off a 70# turtle. Still have his head to boil. My TikTok has 2.6 million views so far.

Oh I got tired of using ziploks so I ordered a vacmaster 215 to start vacuum sealing food now.

I'm sure it's worth every penny but let me know how it does on headed shrimp. I'm tired of containers and water.. Better yet there money bags go buy an IQF machine, i bet ya won't. :ROFLMAO:

I try not to put shrimp up that hasn’t been peeled first. Of course I do head on for bbq shrimp recipes. The cost upfront will be negated over time as it will save me money and preserve my food better.
