Well as Giles posted my nut shot yesterday, I’d like to thank everyone for the congrats and long distance high fives.

Dj and a friend is in the management area as they left their stands out expecting to hunt again in the morning. Hunter and myself are on the property w rifles trying to kill another good buck or the cull that needs an ice chest ride home. 26 degrees and a heavy frost is on the ground. Hopefully we get a good showing this morning. Hunter wanted to hunt the nwr by boat this morning but I told him I ain’t taking no boat ride, too cold and gonna hunt the property where everything is set up. I seen over 20 deer yesterday evening and figured we’d see good movement this morning. Also told him we go on the river for an evening bow hunt like he wanted to.

I'll bet, when I make a sammich I put a ton of meat on it... I might take the 50 cal. for a walk later in search of the ghost and do a little scouting where to sit next week for bear... Maybe even find my backpack, although one day I scoured about a 100 yd. radius and nothing.... Put another cam out also, would love for this guy to show up next week... He was there in Oct. but hasn't shown his fat ass lately... Maybe he's down by you.... LOL

Well here in Jersey you cannot carry a handgun and bear spray is illegal... Well I correct that you are aloud to carry up to 3/4 of an ounce... You know the type women carry on their keychain... Now that's funny, that freaking bear would swallow George whole... I'm lucky to know some areas that have behemoths roaming in them... Well maybe not so lucky... I have bumped into a few that have made me nervous.... Not sure where our season is headed but next open one come on up and I'll put ya right in the heart of bear country... Hunter would be in 7th. heaven... Sent you a Pm with area I hunt check it out....
