To be honest I’m not on the lake anymore so we don’t getting the flooding. High winds, driving rain and falling trees now to contend with. Hopefully no tornado to deal with.

As for work it will be a shut show lol. So much for working weekdays only this week.

Just saw live coverage from Slidell on the weather channel, major highway was bumper to bumper headed out of town…hardly any traffic in lanes coming into town. Looks like no ones taking any chances with this one.
Not a good situation. All the previous weather Channel hype has played down the seriousness. This one is for real.

Think Louisiana had seven hits last year. This storm will hit inland exactly 16 years later as Katrina did. Only difference is it’s a little more west this time. We lost everything in Katrina. Even though we are not taking a direct hit this time (could change) I have a lot of anxiety, I don’t want to be in those shoes again.
