I haven’t seen a tic since turkey season. Maybe it’s some kind of covid shit. I went to town once to get groceries and seed. Other than that I haven’t been anywhere. Looks like I’m gonna get through this slowly. Thanks

Finally got some rain last night. Woke up this morning to go hit a hole that always has water. Only 3 came in and 3 stayed. Around 7am hunter said imma take a walk and get my limit of squirrels. 10 minutes later, sounded like he was killing everything.

Finally pulled the trigger and went to a walk in clinic. Was running a low grade fever. Got a shot and a z pack. Feeling better already.

Well Hunter rolled out around 1 today. Headed north Arkansas to his buddy’s place. I’m sure he will be letting some bodies cool off to room temp soon. Me, well I’m at the camp with Pearl. Will duck hunt in the morning or I might go sit the property. I will know in the morning what I want to do.

Sat the property this morning. Seen a deer about 350 yds away. It walked to djs stand. Around 7, 3 does and 2 fawns walked out for a few minutes a hundred yards away. I just watched them. Didn’t see anything else. I didn’t hunt this evening but did go scout for some ducks and deer sign. Seen 2 bears and 2 hogs. No ducks nor deer. Still not 100% but each day is better and haven’t had fever since going to the dr. Tomorrow morning looking like a duck hunt. After I’m gonna go scout a close place on the wma I used to take the kids when they were little.

Happy Thanksgivings from down south. Me and Pearl finally had a good hunt. Drove to the hole, sat on the bike for 15 minutes cause we were early. Five minutes till shooting time I walked in and loaded my gun. 6:15 came and a minute later 3 wood ducks commit to the hole and 3 shots rang out. Pearl goes on command and brings back the bird. Tell her back and she brings the second, and repeated for the 3rd bird. Pic was taken at 6:19. Love it.
