How did she get there? This is exactly the reason I don't trust my GPS. Poor girl got re-routed. 😁

They've always been here. We're just now getting technology to a point whwre we can track them efficiently and in more numbers. It makes for great headlines but I'd be shocked if any marine biologists were surprised. The ocean doesn't have fences.

As I read the article it didn't seem like there were many. And closer to shore mainly juveniles. Maybe I read too far into it thinking this was not a normal critter for the area.

Oh im sure from our limited understanding it's new and fascinating. We've mapped more of the surface of other planets than we have our own oceans. The ocean is a vastly unexplored and unknown place, the critters inside it even more so. Tracking sharks is relatively new, it seems like every few months there's a new article, great white in Chesapeake bay, great white off the coast of néw York, great white off the coast of the Carolinas, great white off the coast of Alabama. What I'm getting at is those sharks have likely done it for thousands of years white regularity, it's just now that we have the technology with satellite tags to see it. To us its shocking news.

Here's a good example that John and I were talking about last night. Cypress knees. Believe it or not, nobody knows their purpose. We understand the cambian layer of trees and how they move nutrients and water through capillary action. We even have electron microscope video of it. We understand photosynthesis and how trees operate. Yet biologist still don't know why cypress knees exist or what they do. No idea, just guesses. Yet here they are doing their thing like they have for likely million of years.

The Ocean Springs night Mardi Gras parade went great. Caught a good buz, caught a bunch of throws, got hit by a car. All good. 🤣

Made out like a bandit on cheap Chinese shit. Mary-grace the fake baby killed it again on the throws. The wifes Dodge Durango got hit, I got hit by the car before it hit the Durango. Never saw it coming. One moment im standing there, the next i'm on tumble dry. Fortunatly my boys werent around and were safe back away from the road. I'm sore but good thing I was half drunk 😅. I'll feel it tomorrow. Bumper seam clips on the durango popped back into place just fine, just some scratches that'll buff out. A sweet girl hit me, 17 yo, just wasn't paying attention with other teens in the car and took her eyes off the road too long and drifted off the shoulder. All is good, her dad seemed like a nice guy when I spoke to him on the phone. My always so calm wife may have overreacted a tad when she ripped her door open and started to snatch her out by her hair before I could get up and before she realized it was a kid. Nobody is worse for wares so let the good times roll!

I’m sure that was worth risking injury or death….wtf Joe.

Ibuprofen 800mg....
Hydrate and dry socks, you'll be good as new soldier. :ROFLMAO:

Navarre Mardi gras was last week, Pensacola has two. One this afternoon for kiddos and one this evening for tumble drying... sounds like you hit it in the best sense of "Laissez les bons temps rouler"!!

All good in the hood. Bumper seam clips snapped back in and it buffed out, no paint delam or spider cracking so good to go. I'm all good also.

We ran the game on them last night. Mary Grace the Mardi Gras bandit cleaned up. Sterling came up with the "I love cups" sign and he cleaned up with about 19 cups and a half dozen can coozies among everything else they stuck in the basket. Pierce loaded up on the big plushes. All told a great parade.
