With rain moving in between 7 and 8 its a free october hunt tonight. Don't have to worry about burning it out because the only time they'll have to figure me out is the few hours I'm in the tree. Not often you get to hunt a stand and not leave scent. Windy as hell out here though. If it happens it'll happen quick.

Im currently watching one efficient squirrel. He got an ear of corn from the field about 50 yards away and he's carrying it through the woods burying kernels as he goes.

was scouting this morning and watched the fugger out in the middle of a field for a half hour....
