In a tree in Wood county again...... hunting creek bottoms today. The wind is minimal down here. Haven't had any action yet.

Uh, as soon as I typed that, I looked behind me & a doe & 3 fawns came underneath me. Caught me in an awkward position & my sciatica kicked in. They finally went on down to my feeder about 100 yards out.

I didn't really hunt this morning but I did carry a shotgun to watch the sunrise. Had a beautiful 120" 8 walk up to 15 yards. That and two squirrels was all I saw.

Monster doe came through alone, then another doe with a fawn. 7 slick heads, 5 in bow range, not a buck one to be found.
