Hahaha yeah I️ had to. Trying to get a big boy job and needed to look a bit more professional.
Came close on a shooter last evening. Young buck at first light today and just now saw a doe with two young-ins. Surprised she wasn't getting chased at all

Man it looks like a beautiful morning out there! I’ll be out this afternoon, enjoying some time with my boys this AM and a little bball practice then it’s on. Haven’t been in the stand in almost a week!

2 slick heads couple hundred yards away st 7. Rattled at 730. 740 brought a curious Buck into under 20yds. He is awesome. He will be a dandy with character in a couple years. Shot him with video camera. Catch and release at its finest. Knowing you could have killed them is just about as good as burning your tag.
Just getting on stand. I took my time getting up today. I had a small buck chasing doe in front of truck on the way over. I'm on the ground today. A cat just walked right by as I'm typing. I'm gonna stay up in the oaks where I saw that buck last night. They're coming over from the other side & I wanna greet them. GOOD LUCK !

First good buck yesterday and three small bucks sparring this morning. Are we just late in NE Ohio this year compared to what you all were seeing in other parts of Ohio last week? Seems late to have them sparring.
