Rick I'm always shocked how tough these animals are. The shot took out both lungs and sliced the heart but the little guy managed to go probably 40 yards.

2 does and a tiny 6 that had the body size of a fawn lol. Was a really nice afternoon to be out

Nice front moving in with a decent amount of snow accumulation tomorrow afternoon through the evening. Friday morning/evening might be a good time to get out before slipping the orange back on...?

2 small does feeding in range, just can’t bring myself to shoot them. I think they are twins.

Taking my daughter out to sit in a blind and guard a corn pile. This is her spot for the season and we've only hunted it once, together then and I haven't been there without her. Been about a month since the last one but we dumped 6 bags of corn a week and a half ago.
