Well, it was great knowing you guys! I'm mentally challenged and going out this AM. Sitting in a stand , waiting on a furry antlered creature. 10 pages of catching up. I was way behind. Congrats Todd, Smawgunner, Loose, and anyone else I missed. Sunday/Monday morning was staging backhoes, skid loaders, and boxes. Been sitting in a plow truck. Yesterday caught up on sleep. My foreman saw what he claims to be a huge buck while out plowing. Right between two properties I hunt. Could have been huge. Everyone has a different idea of huge. I dunno. Was out checking parking lots for ice last night. Think I might try a midday to dark hunt with the full moon we've had.

Good luck to everyone out hunting the rest of this week. Many more big ones will be coming off that pinned down doe anytime now so get out when and if you can. I got approved for being off on Friday so I’ll be out sitting in my pinches as much as I can over that 3 day span.

Bumped a deer trying to get to the stand this mornin just yards away. Very quiet and virtually no wind from the SE.

A lone nut gatherer came by and said we are on a 2 hour delay because of the cold. This would have been good information to have at 5;00 am.

Yesterday evening had a young 8 grunt his way through. Right before dark a young 10 following a doe. He will be a slammer if he makes it a year or two.
