Another big doe came by. She kept looking at me but didn't become concerned. They all finally left. Hopefully something is following.
Beautiful morning if you like just enjoying a suntan. The way my deer sightings are going I should just get beagles and get back into rabbit hunting.
Same. This is the worst its ever been for me, and it's been pretty bad before. I've yet to see a sign of the rut or even any number of deer.

4 does, a 3 point and 2 bobcats. They ran some other deer off. Listening to a big mixed flock of turkeys. Beautiful morning.
Still out & nothing else moving. Calling for rain tomorrow changing to snow by mid afternoon.

Got out for about an hour and a half. Back in. Rarely see anything until 3:00. Maybe this place is different. Doubt I sit in the rain tomorrow unless it turns to snow later.

It’s been pretty hot right up the creek from you. Most rutting action I’ve ever seen on that property.
Yea seems to be pretty hot everywhere except where I'm sitting haha. I've been to 4 different spots and all essentially dead. I can't complain. I was due for a hard season.

Got off work early so I’m out in a new spot close to home. Never been in here before and have zero expectations. I’m on an oak flat overlooking a creek bottom/marsh. I guess we’ll see...
