Trying a different approach. Sitting over clover in the morning. Really need to figure out this NW corner of our place. It’s a timbered mess with long points and steep ravines. The new clover plot is about one acre and runs down one of the points.

Glad I wasn’t hunting last night. Was windy as hell like I had to hang onto the pole . Should be a good day for it this evening.

Too windy up here.

I'm biding my time, waiting for gun season. With 2 in the freezer already, I want to make sure I extend and enjoy all aspects of the deer season. I've had some incredible rut-related hunts and feel good about where I'm at. Now I'm looking forward to dawning that orange vest for a few days, and then moving into the latter part of the bow season when it gets cold and every other hunter gives up.

Am I the only one hunting today? Going to get down at 10:00 and head for WV. 2 does and 2 bucks this morning.
Well, I'm sitting on waiting to see if my cousin who lives with us has the plague. He got tested Weds. And I haven't felt great since the other day. Figures. Gonna be pissed if he has it. It'll ruin PA plans. And probably gun season too. The ship that is 2020 keeps on sinking

My spot has dried up. One small regular buck under me and one distant chase. I did hear a big one grunting in a briar patch i can only assume locked down with a doe he wasn't coming out. I did set up a new blind for my daughter tomorrow.
