No. I've got a buddy that went to the good spot. Really looking forward to him getting his first trad kill this morning. So I'm waiting to go drag! I'll be out this afternoon for sure.
3yo 9pt spent about 20 minutes hitting a scrape line and mineral site. He has two bumps that may turn into drop tines if he lives. Very tempting as I probably have to sell this property by year end. Maybe my wife will get a shot. He was encouraged to leave by another deer who stayed out if sight. Another small buck came by.

6 deer seen. 3 doe 2 fawns and a Buck that looked decent. All were between 40-60 yards out from me.

Had my 1st sit of the year. 6 deer. I goofy buck with one antler going straight out sideways. Great to be back in the woods. Good luck everyone

Its early, but its hard to get into this spot if you wait any longer.
Saddling up. It's been a decade since I've shot a doe here. Our efforts to restore our doe numbers have been a resounding success. For the first time since 2010, I won't feel bad shooting a doe here.
First sit of the year, Allen and I are on some public land in Michigan. First time in years hunting this state. Acorns literally everywhere, did some hunting public style scouting and found a real promising area.

Hunting WV today. Saw 10 this morning. Grunted in 2 nice 8s, hoping for something better.
