Pulled 2 camera cards yesterday. Not looking good. Two bucks. A 2 and 3yr old. Not shooters. Only seen one of them in the last few weeks. Does are there but mainly fawns and yearlings. Might need to "phone a friend" and tag along during gun season with someone in another area. Or drive to find some public ground.

Similar boat. Maybe they’ll come searching for the does.

🤷. I dunno. Maybe? Not if they are all dead. Good luck to you Cogz. Is what it is for me. Will continue to monitor cameras and scout from a distance. Make a decision later if there are enough does left to consider taking one.

Eventful night. I’ve been pretty discouraged this season as I’ve sat 6 times, tonight being number 6, without seeing a damn deer. The last 30 minutes of light tonight I stood up like usual and with 10 minutes to spare two deer came to their usual creek crossing and the bigger doe had a death wish and gave me a beautiful broadside shot!

Swing and a miss. Lol. She didn’t bolt so I fumbled with getting another arrow of of the quiver, took about a minute, then she offered me another 20 yard perfect broadside shot. Stupid arrow deflected off a branch that I didn’t clear and hit her way back. She ran into the briars and expired 20 yards from the hit.

Not ideal but I believe it was rather quick. I’m excited for the fresh venison as are my kids! Oh and it looks like she has a little pie bald on her face!

I haven't seen a deer in day light while driving around regularly for 3 weeks now. I have maybe 1 3 yr old on camera. It looks bleak as hell. As long as we didn't get hit with ehd it could be the best big buck year around my place based on the Bucks that were alive the last day of season. Anyway, a neighbor is running 7 cams around my place he's had four dandys, while I'm not seeing shit with eyes or camera and these deer are a mile away from my house in cases. They'll show up....
