Mom and twins (1bb) came in and were just hanging out eating. They look up about 15 later and I see a 7 pt (1.5) busting in sniffing and grunting. Chases mom off and grunts back into sight chasing twins. Again, nose to the air sniffing and chasing and grunting loud. Didn’t expect to see that this early.

Late to the party but I'm here. Deer aren't yet.
Golden hour is upon us. This is a feast or famine type of stand. Hopefully I is feasting night. This far just one xL squirrel.

Nothing but unbelievably fat squirrels so far. They’re such fat asses they aren’t even hopping around, just slowly walking lmao
Had a doe and button 5 yrds somethin pushed them, on a escape mission. Ground hunting is awsome

Arg, my number 1 shooter... the buck I hit last year, slipped in from behind through an overgrown field. I looked down and he was under me. He knew something wasn’t right and trotted off. Heavy 10 point for WV
Mom and twins came back. Were here for no more than 5 min when wider but still young 8 pt buck just came through and started chasing them. No grunting this time but wow...lots of action!
4 does and a literal fuckton of squirrels. I had to explain to her that she only has one more tag left and if she wants a buck, she can't shoot the doe, but I'd let her shoot the biggest doe if she wanted to fill both tags. She chose to hold off.

Very windy here in jersey tonight. Only seen three does. Leaves were falling from the trees like rain. This time next week I’ll be in Ohio...can’t wait!
It was the target Buck he come up the fence line got right to the shooting Lane made a right turn and went into the neighbors...UGH!

Had 3 or 4 does at 60 to the NE. Browsing casually then one of em went haywire ran to 30 yds from me, made a loop and ran past the others. They all followed suit, saw nothing rest of the evening. Wind was out of the NE too. Not sure what the deal with that was. Maybe a small buck bumped em that I didn’t see. Action is action.
No blood shed. Six antlerless last half hour out of bow range. Doing today's write up for my journal now w/ photos included. It'll be available shortly.
Nothing Seen in Morrow County. Marion County OH 95 had a few large bucks grazing in a picked field.
Adrenaline pumping night. Had the doe and Bb come through when I sat down. I clicked the safety off on Bb at 5 yrds thought not yet, then near dark a basket rack 8 had his head on her trail walk right next to me. Then at dark had more deer come into the ditch ten yrds behind me. Wouldn't budge then lone coyote hawl 90yrds or under and a pack lights up made the hair stand up in the dark close quarters. Then bumped a large bodied deer walking out......they r in the corn for sure...

They finally started taking off corn over my way tonight. Hunting has been very slow so far.
There's still an ocean of corn over that way. Going to be hard hunting if they don't get going on it.
