Woke up this morning to a face pace and a nut kick. My target deer was killed and it wasn’t by me. Wasn’t the biggest around but I planned to kill it just because. We had lots of encounters.Last year. Finally when I said I’m killing that fucker season was at an end.
I don’t know the kid who got it but I want to tell him congratulations and you ruined my day!!
So now that that’s over
Time to move on to something bigger…..
Sorta funny because yesterday I was going to ask y’all how many times have ya killed a buck that wasn’t local to your hunting place and just smile.. Knowing somebody’s going to wonder where that deer went!
To be absolutely honest I’m not that upset just how it goes..

His name was porno. I’ve only named two deer here.I’m over a decade.. The other ones name is Ghost….He’s still alive….I’m thinking he’s anywhere from 6 to 8 years old….

Same big 8 I almost hit yesterday was at the same exact spot this morning but had already crossed the road. He was just standing there about ten yards off to the side giving me the stink eye.
Yup he’s definitely a nice deer hope ya get him..
You should see his daddy tho. Absolute beast!

Up in my favorite stand on my place. Probably my second favorite all time. Hoping for a stranger but I will shoot Ocho if given the chance.
All settled since 6:45. Chose a low impact spot with alot of open ag fields between woodlots.
