Saw 3 this AM…thought they were doe being chased at first. Then heard yipping
Two of these came in. 1st one i mouth grunted in closer & then a bigger one came in & the 1st got spooked by him. This is the 1st one. ...
2nd one was making odd sounds like I heard last year & he ended up leaving the way he came. No pic of the 2nd.

Just had two small bucks come through since I last updated. They may be moving a bit later in the big woods, Floki. Hang in there lol
In Williams county today! This sure beat listening to I-280 all day. Good luck fellas!

2 smaller bucks cruisin, one close and grunting. 1 doe…pretty sure I heard a grunt out of her. No chasing going on so far.
Got in a ladder stand this morning about 45 minutes before shooting light and thought this view deserved a pic as the sun started its ascent. So far this morning it’s been the same lone doe after first light then another doe and little one skirting through about 15 minutes ago. Not a swingin dick on the move yet on our farm the past 24 hours…..yet.
I'm done. That was super exciting. I'll be back out this evening, but I like mornings better. Tomorrow I'll be in my snipers nest. An open blind set back in a deadfall that I've been waiting for the deer to get acclimated to. Good luck !

Just had a mid 140s ten or twelve bump a doe through at 40 yards. First good buck of the day! Stayed outside of 60 yards though… God my bow strings were getting tight

I had the same spike come see me agin about 30 minutes ago… Came to five yards gave me a little nod and walked on.
Came in to charge phone and feed my self. Be back out here in a bit……

/road frontageFirst time back on here since last year. Glad to see some guys seeing some action. Rutcation starts this Friday through following week. Hoping I timed it right. With last years Indian Summer and 80 degree temps, thinking it will have to be better. Good luck all.
Relocated to other side of farm where it’s thick and nasty and bucks have been known to push a hot doe or two in for several days of courtship. Might work my rattle buck later as well.
Straight ahead is west and the wind is hitting me square in the face for now. Just hope the wind stays constant and in this direction till dark.

Boys, I’ve never scored a deer before. Anybody got a rough guess to venture on this one? Ballpark?
