Set up on some public again. Under one of my favorite oaks, it’s not producing this year, but the two white oaks right next to it are dropping them almost nonstop with this wind. Plenty of tracks and acorn caps on the ground so hopefully they’ll be in here. Cherry on top was a super fresh scrape on the primary trail 13 yards from the tree I’m hunting out of. Wind is supposed to be SSW but it is swirling like a MF so hopefully these thermals will be my saving grace until the wind dies down in the next couple hours. Good luck to anyone else out and about.
