Took a minute to get where I could actually see. Should have trusted my gut on the way in. Jumped a big buck (assuming based on sounded and the fact he let me walk by him once) where I eventually doubled back. I'll see this spot again some day.
People suck. Here's what I thought was an abandoned ladder stand that's nearly rotted into the landscape.
And right under it was this gift to nature...

Ty and I were skunked last night. He's sleeping in today, I was going to also but can't pass up the opportunity since this evening is a no go. Good luck to all headed out today.

I opted to sleep in but daughter is up so I lost out on hunting and sleeping in
