Nearly 50 degrees swing in temp. Gear is washed. I'm in a tree. Windy as heck. Not sure what to expect but you can't kill them from the couch.

Those of you that have problems sneaking up on turkeys should try wearing blaze orange. 
Also, do they eat deer? Because turkeys is all I've seen.

Why do they have so much to say? STFU already...
One shall never forget the view of an open site rifled 12ga. slug barrel! The heavy mule kick and muzzle jump that immediately follows the crisp break of the trigger, and the resulting "blow a hole in em" as the deer is knocked off it's hooves. Fucking love em and hate em.
Weather wasn't calling for wind to die but it has trailed off, thankfully. Farmer working his section of creek bank a few hundred yards south of me. Can hear him. Slightly frustrating but at the same time it very well could alter normal movement and send them my way. I won't complain. I'm a blessed man to be able to do this stuff.
450 Bushmaster knocks them over quite nicely.
