I wish I could hunt here. Looks like I’m in a forest but I’m only on less than .5 acre. My neighbors would frown on a gut pile left in their front yardI spy with my lil eye an empty treestand. Lol

I’m in. On a private parcel that I haven’t hunted at all this year, or really that much at all the last few years, planned to hunt elsewhere but scrapped the idea given several circumstances. No cameras here, some corn left from my dad dumping it a few days ago and in an elevated blind that was 110% not built for a vertical bow hunter. Gonna be a challenge standing up and getting to full draw without getting busted, but need deer to show to even worry about that. Good luck to everyone else out.

Lone doe wandered through at 50-ish yards. She disappeared in the thicket, and I never heard or saw her leave it. Slipped out and didn’t bump anything so I am assuming she bedded down and held tight while I walked out.

Skunked... although one of the several red foxes on this property decided to catch me off gaurd 5 minutes before dark and started barking/screaming 50 yards from me , talk about a way to wake a guy up quick

@Fullbore had a good hunt on farm tonight without the mess. Passed couple small bucks and nice up and comer 9 and a doe or two. Just nothing tripping his trigger was spotted tonight. He might slip back out for evening hunt or two next two days.

Drag it to your yard then gut it.

Those sleds are a game changer for dragging out deer…. I bought one this year, I drug out 3 and my buddy has drug out 4 with it. Not counting bags of corn going in to bait sites….
