Getting ready to head out. Got a call from a neighbor. He's at work, but his wife called him screaming that there's a big buck outside their house tearing shit up....literally. Wanted me to go down & shoot it ...lol. She called called the sheriff....lol

Was pretty breezy up top, so I elected to stay down low and hunt the does. Seen two lone does so far, nothing in tow. Plan is to sit until 11, get down to hang a new set, back up ASAP.

Had a nice 9 come through. Main frame 10 missing a brow. Probably 4, just not great genes. I said I'd shoot if he read the script and hit the scrape, he skirted at 40, so I wasn't forcing a shot when I've got another deer I'd rather kill. But he about had me putting tension on the string!
