Tomorrow makes 2 weeks since the biggest deer has been dead. About time for something else to move in. See how long I make this sit before getting bugged by the wife to do something else. Problems of hunting at home...

Just had another annoying encounter with my target buck. He came following a doe down the hill about 80 yards out. She turned an came right under the stand , he turned the opposite way an went to the neighbors 
Ever wonder what hoof impressions of a good 8 pt look like when he hits your scent at 5 yards while you’re at full draw and ready to shoot? What timing for the wind to completely stop. I just dropped some milkweed and it floated down to where the buck dug in and bolted. The wind has resumed now.

We had a good one cross the road on us as we pulled into here this morning going the wrong way. Three different good bucks on camera here over night and we have yet to see a doe in this field yet which is odd
I seen a squirrel. #blessed

Sounds like they are getting slaughtered across the state line this morning as I drink my coffee on the porch. I hate Indiana comes in so early.
