I was breaking ice in the marina last December to get out on Erie lol
I’m in. Everything is going exactly as it should based on my history. Lugged in all my shit to climb and ended up on the ground. Wind is cooperating for the most part with an occasional swirl. Sitting on the hardest clay imaginable under a pin oak with no butt pad or stool, looking at a bean field. Pretty browsed down, reasonable chance I’ll at least see a deer. Thankful I brought the thermacell. This early season shit is stupid and I don’t know why I keep coming back every year

Ended the evening by getting carried off by mosquitos when my thermacell pad ran out. Saw 4 does at last light. They came from pretty much the exact opposite direction I anticipated them to. Nice to get out with the bow in hand either way.
