Only deer he seen. Damn kids these days have the bar set to high. I would've sent one and been crazy happy with that buck. He had him at 12 yards
Saw four does spooked them all, perfect first sit.
Arrow is broke in half! I nearly puked! Rough night coming. Rain started coming down pretty hard and Max just wasn't doing quite what I wanted. Got out of the thicket and went around to backside of it. Maxx tried going on neighbors. Getting permission in the morning and starting the track again from the start.

I’m in. Hunting a buddy’s farm an hour from home. Class was cancelled so I figured why not when I got the invite. He’s a got a few good bucks running around, and according to him the does need thinned as well as woodchucks. This stand is quite obviously setup for a crossbow, but beggars won’t be choosers. Not sure what to expect, fingers crossed. Good luck to anyone else out.
Just got settled. This corner of this wood lot is ripped up could be an interesting evening. Buck only unless a doe is very very dumb and offers herself to the freezer.
One fox squirrel two reds and four coons, 0 deer. It was a very pretty evening in the woods though. Try again Friday night.
Handful of does, 1 small buck and a coyote, all out of range. Shot a woodchuck though, a reasonable consolation prize. Beautiful evening out.
Wind is right (can't believe it). Get right back in there ~~Ya never know.

Should be in, but I’m waiting out the rain in my truck. Cameras don’t fare well when they get soaked. Have a spot picked out that has been good to me in the past this time of year. Considered scrapping the evening, but I’m too stubborn to drive an hour and not hunt, even if it’s the last 45 minutes. Looks like the clouds are breaking up, gonna be go time shortly. Good luck to anyone else out.
Went last night, had some action before dark. They all got a pass.
