Haven’t seen a soul. Neighbors are raising a ruckus, not sure if that’s to blame or not. I’ll likely sit another hour or so, and if nothing happens I’ll slip out and figure out a game plan for this evening/afternoon.

Whole lotta fun w/o the mess. This small ten came by. His coughing alerted me before he popped out. Afterwards, a doe & fawn followed thru. The fawn was looking back as if being followed, but zilch.
Been in the tree since 9:00 am. Another windburn generating day. Got the buck decoy 25 yards in front of me with the wind directly in my face. I can only sit until about 3:00 today. Hopefully there’s a buck somewhere getting bored that wants to pick a fight.
Looks like I’m heading up to Ohio Saturday. Hunt Sunday until I get bored or bedsores on the backside or a BDB steps out in front of me in shooting light/distance.

In once again. Sitting the same section of public as yesterday. Have little to no expectations, but this spot just sets up so well for this time of year and this wind. Fingers crossed. Good luck to anyone else out and about.

In again. Today and tomorrow is it for and East wind. 36 hours ago all the mature bucks but Bareny Miller went silent and deep. Nothing on cams. Thinking a pod of does went into heat early again on the farm or close nearby, Ive seen this on the farm over the last ten years. But this is interesting and pronounced. Good luck if you're in.
