Good hunt last nite, Columbo long tined 8pt made Grassy Knoll his personal rodeo. Kept galloping thru and around never gave a chance. Doe would be driven off, creep back he'd barge thru and do a couple laps.
Once coming back into the plot he grunted 3 times, so loud it sounded like someone shouting. Loudest I've ever heard.

Pretty dead other than passing a little doe that came running in like she was getting chased but nothing else showed. Scrape line is still active with fresh pee in it from last night id say. Hopefully they'll be freshening them up after all this rain moves through. Gonna give that spot a couple more sits then move on.

I stayed out till just after 10, nothing else moving. Prolly hunkering down before it rains.

Im out was trying to beat the rain but not working out lol. Damn buck made this scrape after I climbed down this morning at 10.
Fresh made arrows and my pimped out China bow, hope things come together.

One last sit on this public chunk this evening before the wind shifts and I head to northern MI. Already going to be threading the needle with the northerly touch blowing in but it’s just a matter of time before the right one comes through. Wind is ripping yet again.
