12 total tonight. 10 doe and fawns a fork horn and a possible shooter followed a doe into the cornfield in front of me and never saw them again.
I was covered up from 4:30 until I got down. Almost had to call the neighbor to drive over and make some racket so I could get down and the the fork horn did it for me chasing every tail out of there!
Head was on a swivel and now in hand most of the night.
All the fun, none of the mess as Brock would say!

Im out, ive abandoned my best spot for the morning due to lack of sightings or activity. Im back on top of the oak ridge but my wind sucks. Not expecting much I did bump a couple at the truck not sure what they were. Like they say it only takes one. Rain this evening and ball games in the morning so next sit is tomorrow evening if the boss clears it lol.

I hate cell cams and having to go to work. The pain is real watching the rut unfold in real time when your an hour away and people need drinking water.

Saw a big one locked on a doe in a great spot to ambush but the a son in law of the land owner can be a problem. I called another hunter he achieved permission and hopefully gets a shot. Another shooter was chasing does on the other side of the section I'm here but was busted by a doe group no where near the casing action is unholding bad winds and way to many does around to get close so I'm just hanging back hoping the one the does is after brings him this way and scouting for youth season.

Working today and saw this monster chasing doe around field.

18 total went by me. Now some were repeats but there’s 3 spikes a fork horn and a basket 6 dogging any doe in sight.
Was covered up between shooting light and 8:30 then it calmed down. Last hour nothing moved.
Coffee and bacon some bathroom time and then back at it after this rain moves through.
