Shooters for whom? I have found out that that term is very different from hunter to hunter. Just saying

On my EHD land. Seen a 6pt and there is a really nice two year old or maybe he is three bedded down with a doe about 100 yards from me

I've been trying to keep a positive attitude but the EHD has really played hell on the deer numbers in general let alone good bucks ugh.
Hunt like you are 12 again! The hell with score or any of that. Just hunt!!! Or if size matters all that much to you, go find something else to hunt. You know what is there. Either option are the things you can change to bring the joy back.
For the record, I need to listen to my own advice. That is why I put it in writing on TOO. Because my spot sucks!

I'm in one weird uncomfortable spot downwind of thick bedding. Dropped my bow holder so had to improvise. I did have a button buck come out of the thick stuff to my west to investigate all the damn racket. I tried to get in early but opted not to push farther in because I didn't want to blow anything out of bedding. I panicked because I was running out of time and lack of trees so I picked the best piece of crap I could. Im gonna try to make the best of it, cant do any worse then I have been lol.

So far my plan and shitty tree has worked..ive had a 6pt and a 3yr old 8pt that is a regular behind my house 2 miles away come thru. Couldn't believe I saw him here

Cameras aren’t showing anything different than what I was seeing up there….. Thought for sure one of the shooter bucks would’ve walked in front of one while I was driving home, giving me the middle finger….
