Very exciting morning. My brain isn't working right currently from lack of sleep to get into this house so please excuse all the grammar errors.....very exciting sneaking around our yard tucking behind trees bricks and dirt piles trying to get a Clean shot. I'm glad we saw these deer before stepping foot in the open. I think this deer is 4 with a shed from last year. He looked a lot bigger with brush in his antlers with the normal body but rut weight loss. There's a horse of a 3 year old laying with a doe across the road right now that'd make this one look small body wise. I've never killed this nice of a rack that's for sure.
Congratulations on making one heck of a GREAT memory for the entire family! Heck of a buck and I’d say he’s every bit of 4 maybe 5 even.

Good luck to all who are out! I cracked a beer, then started cleaning out the fridge/freezer, then the pantry, then the lazy susan, then the spice and baking cabinets, then the overflow storage. Time to watch the Trojans and Ducks, and actually relax 
Good luck this afternoon!! My son is home from college so we’re out bowhunting. He’s yet to kill one with his bow so hopefully today is the day.

I’m back out, flushed the first Louisiana woodcock of the season on the walk in. Glad to see the ones I missed in Michigan this year made it down here so quick!
