Beautiful morning. Snowed 1” around midnight and the tracks are all over from the night moves.

First time I’ve carried a 12 gage for deer in about 20 years. The old 870.

Didn't think id make it back out, but the boss said aren't you going back out?..she must be sick lol. There's a little pressure on neighboring properties so hoping that and the snow that's coming might push something in. If nothing else its peaceful with a great view.
Been in since 3:45ish. Didn’t feel the need to be here any earlier. Finally had my first shooter of the year show up last night. He was here with plenty of time to spare with a handful of does and fawns. I’m assuming he either caught wind of a fawn that’s getting “warm” or got bumped from a neighboring property from people putting up blinds, dumping corn or sighting in rifles. If he does EXACTLY what he did yesterday I should get an opportunity, but I’m not holding my breath. I always feel weird wearing orange with a bow in hand yet here we are. Good luck to anyone else out on this fine evening.
Dropped off my deer and the DNR truck was there.
One guy was aging deer and an OSU student was checking the deer for Covid…..
Your tax dollars at work….. I get the age part for statistical analysis. But Covid testing?

Believe it or not the deer didn’t do EXACTLY what they did last night 
Had a fawn wander through but that was it. I assume because it wasn’t near as cold, and because there was a dipshit sitting in the treestand where they were lol

We got almost 5 inches, school is closed so i have a buddy for my morning hunt.
My daughter called it "glunting" as a party on glamping instead of camping

I’m in. Got at least an additional 3-4” of snow overnight. Camera was active all night with small bucks and does. Hoping a mature doe gives me a shot so I can get in on this lotto again next year. As much as I hate the wind, I’d love to at least have a light breeze. It’s gonna be damn near impossible to get to full draw without getting busted. Good luck to anyone else out

Awesome, good luck! Ty's still sleeping, was hoping it would pop in his head we could head out. Nope, he's at that age of enjoying his Zzzz's.

Had a fun opening day yesterday in NWOH despite not getting one on the ground. The really weird thing was how little shooting we heard around the area and saw almost zero orange
