Remember this time of year it can change in an instant.... Don't wuss out because of the wind..... Especially in these warm temps.... Stay on the ground and move around if needed but they gotta eat just like everything else lol....
I'm trying to run a crane...this wind is Vicious!!!

I was out in the yard picking up a weeks worth of dog crap due to the snow & it sounds vicious in the woods. We'll see.
If my ground blind (which I just fixed yesterday) is still in the same zip code when I got back this weekend, I will be shocked!

I just realized after your post Jesse that I almost left my blind in the woods after the youth hunt,,, luckily I decided to pack it up and out....whew

Yea I bet my blind is freaking trashed. Its been one of those days at work glad its a short week.

My wife just called and said my blind is gone. She found it in the neighbors pond, asked permission and retrieved it. Pond is a good 150 yards away lol. No hunting for me today!
So I'm sitting here in the recliner & I get a text pic...
I decide to run up to the cabin to get my crossbow, thinking he'll swing by my pop up. I notice my screen door is in pieces. The yard is littered in branches, the tarp is off the camper . At least the pop ups are still in place. I never did see that deer. Too dangerous to be in the woods.

I'm sure my blind is trashed also. Probably got caved in from the snow then blown too the next county today.
Looks like rain for the next hour then heading out too sit on the ground too oversee a swamp too see if anything actually moves in the stuff lol.... I'll have the bow and an antlerless tag with me lol....

I figure our blind is long gone. It was set on a mesa at what could be the highest point in Jefferson County. My dad is a worried mess about it today. It was tied off to some saplings but doubt it held. Hope I'm wrong!

Booted a doe out of a bed 50 yards from my truck... She probably watched me get dressed.... I feel so dirty lmao!!!!!
