View attachment 37830 At the swamp again. Got the shit scared out of me by his steer this morning. Usually there not were you walk through to get to the property but they were! Fuggers kept following me. Thought they were gonna run me down!
My one farm I hunt is mostly all enclosed in the cow fence. The old bull they used to have used to walk me to and from stand all the time. He was the nicest herferd bull I've ever seen. Still would never completely trust him. But he would literally wall beside me brushing against me to and from my stand. He was my body guard. Haha

That same 6 point I saw earlier came In again later at the exact same place and went out the same way. Poor guy must be confused or lost lol. Saw the daily turkey parade this morning. The parade is always a guaranteed event morning and evening.

around Toledo
6 squirrels
1 monster skunk, was the biggest skunk I have ever seen
1 coon

SE wind came up and I don't have a stand on the farm that is good for that wind. Hoping it changes so I can get out around 3.

I saw a few fresh rubs but no scrapes at all, sorta strange

Hitting a ground blind I set up yesterday walking around.... Had a good parade of doe going by it the last month.... Hoping a buck will make a daylight showing.... There's 2 scrapes one behind and one in front of me... It'll be an up close and personal experience if they show up this afternoon.... Two large round bales too help conceal me as well as some strategically placed maple branches....

Let's see if this Halloween hunting pans out....

Reading thru 70 posts in the last 7 hours from you guys! Wow! Active thread. Got my morning scouting drive done. Cleaned my leaves up. Getting ready for a soccer game. Sucks I overslept but at least I am getting stuff done. Looking forward to seeing which one of you jokers kills something today! Good luck all!

I'm wrapping up some stuff around the house and then headed out for the first sit in a new spot I have high hopes for. Picked up some ever calm today. I've never tried it but have heard lots of good things. I have to walk across some deer trails to get to this stand so I'm going to put some on my boots and smoke up heavy. If I see a doe, button buck or shooter buck from this stand it's getting an arrow. Hopefully I can put some blood on the ground for Halloween. Flashlights, rubber gloves and knife are in the truck and I have every intention of using them.

I can't stand it anymore, I gotsta hunt. My clothes are almost done in the washer and as soon as they're done drying I'm out. Sitting in my favorite spot this evening in my millennium and the first fat doe the gives me a shot is getting the shaft. I'll be sitting right up against a doe bedding area that is currently holding around a dozen does so I expect to see some good action!
