Live from the stand!

Getting ready to go out. Be setting in the ladderstand again. I'll be wearing my Cabela's Extreme weather coveralls with a good face mask. Damn that thing are heavy but well thought out. I have health issues where I can't permit my legs to get chilled or the MS leg spasms get bad. If I do get into trouble the tower is 125 yds away with a heater.
I checked my time lapse cam and I seen no real movement in the evening hunting hours and only movement has been in the morning hours. I love that time lapse cam watching my hunting area when I'm not there. It surely helps to pattern deer movement.

Dentists appointment this morning. Fixing chipped front tooth and getting fitted for a mouth guard. Damn my clenching!

Decided to work from home the rest of the day which will include fixing a double stand and building a natural blind. Maybe take the oldest out this afternoon. Who knows.

Dead silent woods so far for me. I'm glad I took the leaf blower and made me a path through the yard a week ago...should be able to hear the frost melt this morning.

Beautiful morning to be out! Nothing seen yet but been hearing several dogs within 1/2 mile barking off and on. Karissa is locked and loaded and I've got my video cam at the ready. Just hope to see some action today. Prepared for an all dayer...ickle:

Ive been covered all morning. 12+ Great sit. Some good chasing. Got 3 does bedded about 60 yards out. Saw one hot doe with a train behind her. She'll b back. Im not moving.

Had one nice buck early, out feeding in field bout 300 yds away, does and 4 small bucks since.
Got my lunch packed and sure is a nice day.

Gordo, good luck! I jumped doe yesterday on my farm in northern Athens co and immediately a buck unseen jumped and dogged her so hard, he tripped and fell down! Back out tonight.
