Frigid night. I swapped some cards. One camera batteries dead. One lock so frozen I couldn't open it. Other camera card I want to see when I get in the house. It looked promising for a couple 3yr olds. My fingers and feet were cold. Had gloves on except when attempting to change cards. Those few minutes without gloves were terrible. I rarely wear gloves to work so it isn't sissy fingers. Just plain frigid. Keep your skin covered as much as possible. I am hanging with Hank in the shop now so I can check his paws and ears.

I love warm hands but hate to wear gloves while bow hunting. It's a struggle ! Lmao

Well I got fuggin screwed. I passed on 2 yearlings and what was probably a 1.5 year old doe hoping I'd get a shot at one of the 4 big ones. 30 mins later after sitting motionless with my head turned towards the big ones one of them starts coming down the trail. She's at 30 yards with the other 3 behind her and all of a sudden there's a bright light shining on my lap, for a few seconds I thought I was getting abducted by aliens until I realized its my fuggin lighted stocking cap that I got for Christmas. Needless to say all the deer took off. They didn't snort so I guess that's a good thing lol. Sat in that cold windy shit for 3 hours only to get fugged by a stocking cap, I don't know if it was the cold weather that was messing with my hat but I didn't touch it cause I couldn't move. Just a little pissed off right now.

Took the middle one out tonight for about 45 minutes with the caller. The coyotes didn't want to play tonight. Maybe they'll be something in the traps tomorrow.
