Hunted a new area tonight and saw a small doe already in the field at 3:30 when i was walking in. Then at last light I saw a small doe and what I think was a small buck. It was too dark to tell though

Great hunt for me tonight. Saw 6 does, 4 of which were mature, 3 of which could have died. Got buzzed by some wood ducks on the way out which is a rarity at the farm. Fantastic evening.

Only thing I killed was time. Saw four deer though. That was a nice change. One young doe in bow range.

Are you able to do much calling? The good thing is you know where there roosted so so go in and bust them out of roost and then try and call them back, just an idea.
I'm only on 6.5 acres, so I can't really chase them around. Might give it one more shot next weekend and that'll be it, deer time after that.

Saw a couple small bucks . Heard a buck let out a grunt about 15 minutes before end of shooting light in the timber . Pretty uneventful again
I know of one good one that died tonight .

Mason saw 30+. I saw at least a dozen, some of them were the same that Mason saw. We shot none. Awesome evening.
