Tucking into a fence row on a corn field they just cut this morning. Good bedding that they usually come out of. Brought my wife's crossbow first doe by is getting it. I've never shot one with a crossbow.

Been settled in about 30min. Just hunting. Beautiful evening. Bit warm. Bit sunny. Field next to me was in beans. It has now been turned. Bummer. Oh well. Wind is right for the stand. Could be my only hunt this weekend so I'll take it.

Good luck to everyone that's out! Wind isn't perfect for us out of the E but it just depends how the deer approach this oak flat we're over looking from the south. I'm cameraman like this mornings sit in the honeyhole. We saw 7 during this mornings 3.5 hour hunt and we climbed down at 11 this morning.

It won't be me if there is one. I'd be surprised to see a deer where I am tonight. Maybe a coyote. Good chance on a squirrel. Deer? I doubt it. Picked beans and turned the field already next to my stand. I don't care though. Beautiful evening. Felt good finishing a big job today so I could hit the woods. Life is good.

Yessir. Besides that, you just never know . Kids on quads, coyotes, or many things can make deer head your way even if the deer hadn't intended on it.
