Rain let up about 4:25 here and I got settled in by 4:45. Wind is keeping the tree dancing but it is cooling off quickly and it finally feels like fall:pickle:

Good luck fellers!

Got settled at 5 , had a dink buck come thru at 515 . See what happens. I'm hunting a spot I haven't sat for a few yrs . Ash trees dying have allowed the understory to grow up creating a seam of thick cover coming out of a clear cut . See how it goes .

Super thick in here. Brought climber to killer spot. Never hunted it before. Phone is going away. Bow in hand entire last hour. If it happens tonight it will be a quick decision.

After the spike the 2 BBs came back and the bigger one wandered over to the mock scrape I made and attempted to work it. Funniest shit I've seen in a while watching him try to reach the licking branch 😂 Good night overall

Got settled into my climber at about 4. I wasn't sitting for more than 15 minutes before a young 8 point came through. Passed him up and not long after he left I saw another deer but it was in enough brush that I never saw what it was. Then a dead tree fell over 50 yards away and I didn't see any more. On the walk out I bumped three more out of a field close to the parking area

Saw a doe early. Had a young buck harassing a couple does. Later saw a doe with twin fawns. Had the young buck wandering around and saw him several times. Great sit. I even got busted by something when I was wrapping up the climber. Deer were all over the place. Just not the right ones. Or as Brock would say "All the fun. None of the mess."
