I'll be heading out around 3. Going ground assault on the fringe of bedding area

Change of plan. Not likeing this wind or temp for trying to pull off that sit. Afraid I'll do more harm then good. Times ticking but still have some. Going to slip out else where and save that idea for next couple days when things are looking more favorable

Yep Gordo i didn't feel like having a dead ash tree fall on me.Freakin wind is really kickin up today.

Sounds like a safe call, it's kicking down this way. Beyond the dead ash, the ground is damn wet! Conditions are right for a perfectly good tree to uproot.

We're out. There's a little breeze but not really windy here. Lots of mud and around 35 degrees. This will be the last hunt of the season.

Kickin myself a bit for not makeing it out tonight. Things ended up calming down.

Anyway, I feel a lot more prepared to hit it tomorrow. Ran the clothes through the normal routine, shot around the yard a bunch, and got some other shit done so I should be 'green light go' to get out early tomorrow and be able to relax.

Pumped up. Now to get some sleep!

I was on my way to hunt when my daughter text me to remind me that I was doing something with her tonight. Oh well guess that's the end for me. She told me I could continue to go hunting but, I'll give up possibly my last day to be dad.

Skunked. Saw 13 antlerless on the other side of the thicket when I left.
