Well I'm pissed off now, had a group of 4 people trespass through our property right by me and said they were going to hunt property I know for a fact they are not aloud to hunt because the owner is out himself right now and the property is only 5 acres big so there is no room for 2 stands. Freakin ruined my night but I'm still going to sit through it. Just pisses me off I'm about to call the game warden

Hate early season hunting around neighborhoods/ farmland. People like to be outside and do summery things like....talk, yell, slam car doors, mow lawns. I guess the deer are used to it but I'm not. STHU!

Sat this morning. Saw several coon, squirrels, a cardinal, doves, a doe maybe 6-800yds away with my bunks, heard turkeys in the distance, had a hawk land 10yds from me, and even saw a mink this morning. Thought I would get skunked of deer sightings (I am not counting the one 1/4+ Mile away lol) but finally had a lone doe get bumped from her bed at roughly 60-80yds and moved thru. Heck, I even heard yotes in the distance when the fire trucks were called out. On my walk out I ended up seeing a bunch of turkeys as well. Eventful morning. Just not real eventful in the deer department.

Skipped on the scent smoker before the hunt cuz I was running late and an old doe explained to me that was a no no as she snorted her way away from me.... Son of a b.

Never ever skip the smoke.lol Had 7 deer downwind this morning and not a problem.

We had an old nanny downwind of us the entire time she was around tonight, probably minutes or so. She checked the wind a couple of times, but stayed right there. Beat her! If we were looking to collect meat today, she'd have riden home with us. We heard two gobblers this evening too, forgot about that till I read Phil's post. Pretty fun evening even though nothing got shot.

Had 2 does licking my treestand sticks tonight, and one at 40 yards. Sat an observation stand hoping to see the buck I call B.J. but no suck luck. It'll get better with the moon and temps in a few weeks.

Yeah I was just telling my bud how religious I am with that smoker too... Oh well lol that's the first time I've been winded since I started using it.

Out again today. A little warmer than yesterday but still nice out. Let's hope something comes though

Had a good hunt last night. Took my boss's son to the groundblind. We had 4 deer within 20 yards just never got a good shot with his recurve. Out with Kay this morning had one under us at dark. Nothing else yet

Just got into the stand, was bored sitting I side so decided to go out a little early. Perfect conditions for me for wind so let's hope it is a success tonight!
