Had a doe at 20 yards at 5:30. Thought it was odd she was all alone. 5:50 here comes a 4 pt. he circles around and bumps her to 40 yards. He starts to follow her and I hear a snort wheeze. A nice buck can't tell you 120 or 150 slips away with her and proceeds it chase her in circles at 100 yards. Leaving me and the 4 point frustrated lol.

Well, at a around 5:00 I start scanning the woods. Low and behold I see antlers. What looks like the bigger 10 pt. bedded about 50 yds away from us. As we're paying attention to the buck, neither of us notice the doe literally 5 feet away from the blind. I think we were as surprised as she was. Hahaha. She she bounced off along with the buck. At least we saw something. Nice night to be out.
I saw two does on the way back home from wing night. I guess I wasn't skunked after all today !

I hung a camera at my property tonight. Not because I have any sign of deer. They have disappeared. Hung it for trespassers patrol. Killed 3 more squirrels on the way in and back out. Might as well enjoy it. I bought the place to use.

Settled in the summit for what feels like should be a good morning! Good luck and be safe everyone!
Been that kinda morning...got almost to my stand, and heard hooves shuffling away this morning. They didn't take off, and didn't blow, but nonetheless they knew I was there. So I get up into my stand, and begin to pull my bow up..of course it snags on every twig possibly on the way up. So THEN, after a series of event, my bag, 1 arrow out of my quiver, and my light all fall to the ground..after hitting every limb on the tree on the way down. If I see a deer it'll be a miracle lol. On the bright side, I'm on the woods all is quiet now. Good luck fellers!

Well fugg. The neighbor's son pulled in with his front end loader. He was doing something down in the bottoms, but is now up on top. My morning is done.
