Got a cool down coming boys! Looking promising for a while after this warmth today. Some rain expected tomorrow down this way late morning. Friday looking like a good day to plant ass for the day. Giddy up

I hear that. I gotta figure out what property to push in at. No cams running this year, but they are still messing with my head based on previous years! Doh!!
I skipped taking a vacation day today , but am gonna get out after work for no other reason than its Nov 2nd . I drove by the area I planned on hunting this evening and there was a nice mainframe 11 point out pushing a doe around a pasture field right by the woods I was gonna hunt . Long shot but nice seeing a shooter moving around the vicinity

To hot for me yet, I just got home from helping a friend recover a nice wide 6 he shot this am. I'm moving some livestock around then hunting this evening, I hope. Good luck fellas.
Ditto. Gonna get out for a couple hrs after work. The deers hormones don't know that it's 75 degrees. Doesn't help but you never know. Might be a good night to tickle the horns and see what happens. No other expectations based on the weather
Here's a crappy pic of the mainframe 11 I saw . He's not huge , but the way things are going for me I'd shoot him .
Screw it, got everything I needed done... I'm heading out.... Hitting a farm I haven't stepped foot on this fall... going to setup on the ground and see what happens....

I've been on stand for about an hr now and I'm just finally cooling off from the walk in. Saw 2 big fresh scrapes on my way to the stand so I'm hoping one is bedded close and he messes up before dark. It is deffinetly warm out though. Beats being at work any day.
