Got my smoke on. Now dressed and heading in.

Had 3 do what they where supposed too. One plump ass old nanny along with a yearling doe and what appeared to be a small shed buck. Hopefully that ole biotch is carrying my 2022 Booner!!! Ha. That was around 4:30. Scent Smoker worked its magic. Things unreal. They all passed pretty much underneath me and never knew a thing. I was hopeing a nice buck was going to do the same but it never happened. Saw a couple more around dusk but it's possible it was the same group. Not trying to wack a doe at this property when there's better numbers else where.

Fun hunt. Was confident a nice one would show up until I climbed down. Felt good about the effort.

Need cooler temps and I'll give that place another shot.

Will be going for freezer filling next time out.

Saw several does a half rack and a really nice 8 just before dark.
Had some tension on my string and if i coulda bought 5 more mins of light i think i woulda got a shot.
Got stuck in the tree till all the deer moved off.
Oh well back at it tomorrow but sure was an exciting hunt to see a good one this late in the season.

Just hoping for more cold weather Gordo,looks like late next week through the weekend might be good.
The buck i saw tonight i have his sheds from 2 yrs ago when he was a 3 yr old,would be nice to get a crack at him.

I've been eyeing that forecast also. Should get them up and moveing a bit earlier


And...... yes! Hope you get a shot at him!
