Live From the Water

Motor quit going backward in reverse so that’s no good. Goes forward with no issue in forward and reverse gear selection. Probably going to shut down the far runs for the rest of the trip

Might need too drop the lower unit and reinstall it. Might be all it is, and it’s a cheap start that won’t really cost anything. Google that specific motor for dropping the lower unit and there should be plenty of videos on the how too….

Sure does, it appears I lost neutral too so that’s a big bummer. With the potential weather coming in tomorrow I’d say we are all done. Will post up some more pics when I get better service.

Picture dump of all photos worthy fish from rest of second day, you’ll have to ignore my ugly mug in them and appreciate the fish. Solo photography is tough.

Had a great time minus the motor taking a shit. Love chasing these bronze fish. Lost more bass than I’d like to admit due to their aerial performances and poor Ned rig hook sets. Had a hard time finding a happy medium in lifting into the fish and the flip’n hook set.

Another bed fish. Hard to bed fish when 2 guys are crowded in the bow flipping for fish.

Favorite coloration on a smallie. It went 3.75. It needed another 2lbs and a couple inches and it’d be riding home with me for a mount.
