I bought one last year from lowes. It's made by dirty hands tools. It had nothing but great reviews online. So far it's been a beast, and hasn't met a piece of wood it can't split.
Dad and I went in halves on this same one, 27ton black friday deal for $899 I believe. Zero complaints whatsoever. Splits like a beast, starts easy, and has the option to go vertical.
