My chocolate is an English as well as my black before him, great dogs. Labs are all I have ever had and won't have anything else. I would like to find a silver lab at a good price.View attachment 28710

Just put in a deposit for a pup. All thanks to Kaiser for the lead on this litter. 2 weeks ago they found 6 blobs on the ultrasound. Wednesday they're counting skulls and spines and I'm number 6 pick so let's pray they're all healthy and the ultrasound was correct! Here's the parents Maggie and Leroy

Inbreeding. This may have changed, but the AKC was not registering silvers as a result of what it took to get them. I just have a cursory understanding on the issue, so take that at face value. Someone may have more to say on the subject.

Hey J just do a search on silver labs.I just learned alot about them that way.

AKC registers them as a shade of chocolate. People first believed the silver came from an outcross breeding, which DNA proved to be untrue.

I personally don't care for the silver labs.... they can say what they want.... bit there just isn't something right about them... ive never seen one I thought looked good.... they are always goofy looking.... also.... there's a reason you don't see them at west minster or in field trials....
