My go to....and they are damn good....just raised their prices to $200 minimum! I'm out at that price. Any recommendations in Athens or on the way to Columbus up Rt. 33?

There was one off 93 N outside of Logan. I'll try to find out more. Also, that that taxidermist that took on ODNR does deer processing in the Logan area.

There’s one on rt 50 between McArthur and Chillicothe. Charges about $80 and has a 2-3 day turn around. He also vacuum seals everything. There’s another one off of rt 93 just north of Logan who is also a taxidermist. Haven’t had anything butchered there yet but did taste some of the summer sausage he had on hand…it is pretty good stuff.
Probably the wrong direction, but I've been going here for 20+ years and am now friends with one of the sons. Moores Deer Processing at 4180 North Torch Rd, Torch, Ohio (Eastern Athens County near the Washington County line). Less than $100 and good, reliable people with a 24/7 cooler for drop off. Here's last season's rates.
Were you using Wood Rd. in Albany? This popped up for me this morning. Never used them before but always heard great things about the 'extras' they offer.
Look up The Local Butcher. They are moving to Athens from Gallipolis. I will be taking a few steers there in Jan.
That one looks like it might be convenient. Hopefully they update their location and all soon!!
