Very nice Congrats! I do have one suggestion though. I know its sitting on a bit of a hill and prob looks worse than it is, but I suggest you raise that hitch up a bit so its sitting more level. If the nose is down it will put much more weight on your front axle and on the tires making the possibility of a blow out much greater. Also after the camper and truck are loaded to go camping it will squat it even more. My suggestion is when everything is empty have the tongue of the trailer sitting 1" or so above level that way when everything is loaded and ready to go it will be closer to level. I had to raise mine up 2 bolt holes from where the dealer had it because it was way nose down after the camper was loaded.

Enjoy it, its a nice one!

Thanks man! It was pounding rain sideways when I hooked it up, lucky the lights were even hooked up. I only had to drag it 22 miles home. I'll get it all dialed in before the first trip. I like the way you think though!

One more thing.. My guess is its not winterized anymore, just like mines not, I would turn your heater on (or use an electric portable heater) to about 40* inside the camper and open all cabinets so the heat gets to the water lines to keep them above freezing. You probably already know this but better to be safe than sorry..

Good call, it's a brand new unit so I have no idea if it was winterized or what. I'm going to go put a small heater in it right now. I didn't even think about that!

This is a 4 season camper, I don't remember the exacts. I have the info out in the camper and I'll get it for you. They are much better than they used to be.

Hunted with a group of guys for a couple years down at salt fork and they had campers from the 90's era and the furnaces would keep up but just seemed too run forever and often.....
We kept the temps in the 60's just to take the chill off....

That's awesome if it has heated tanks! I thought Arctic Fox was the only true "4 season" manufacturer on the market.

Most are good to freezing, then add a sticker by the door and an enclosed underbelly with a duct blowing air into it and the little bit of insulation under there and it's now a "Polar Package" or "Cold Mountain Package" and it's good to around 15-20*. More marketing hype than anything. Some come with double pane windows and higher R values but that = weight. They are better than the 90's, but I would not recommend using your water and gray/blank tanks below freezing unless they are heated. I have camped in the snow in each of 3 units though the years and I laugh when the sales guy or previous private owner shows you the sticker.

Anything will stay warm if you pump enough propane through it. :smiley_coolpeace:

We didn't use any of the facilities in the campers below freezing... They winterized it late fall and just used it as a sleeper with heat and being able to use the stove for cooking....

It's called "arctic package". I'll look into it a little more once I get home. I don't think it has heated tanks and stuff though, just a higher R rating. And I wanted that so the AC didn't run all night.

It also looks like I'll be seeing you at BG and you'll be able to see this thing in person. A good buddy of mine already has the site and no camper this year.
