Looking to learn more about todays campers

This is Levi, everyone calls him "LIL David". He was very happy to wake up on his 6th birthday and see his new camper. The brother and sister were not happy at all as they didn't see the humor.

I had it pulled up online and now I can't find it... Sorry, I was gonna share to get opinions on price. It seems to be priced about $4,000 less than everything else we seen like it. It doesn't have any water damage, pretty clean except the carpets, I guess it was a repo.

Likely because they sold it. Seems like they update their website but never pull them off craigslist. I had been watching one on craigslist and was planning on looking at it tomorrow. Went to their website and it is shown as sold too. It is that time of the year. If it is a good deal they won't last long.

Next step has been taken...the bank just called and told me to have fun shopping. We found a couple we really liked and the wife is looking at one on her way home from school.

Yup, most expensive toy I've ever bought... And with the Alaska trip this year...starting to get second thoughts here. Spending weekends as a family and doing things together is my goal though.

Lots of ways to accomplish this with both a RV and without. The RV is just going to cost a heck of a lot more, the other ways maybe less comfortable. All things I know you know, but my only insight is don't go pull the trigger on a 20K unit just because you can if you can't justify using it and the increase in insurance, time for maint., and costs of maint. We would not have one if we did family vacations, but I love the flexibility it provides for things outside of camping.

Hate to say it but we are most likely going to go seasonal in Port Clinton this year. With #3 due at anytime, 3 day weekend trips are going to be a pain. We have some friends & family at the campground already so there is kid coverage support, other kids to play with, and we can just load up the truck on Friday and leave late Sunday instead of being in a hurry and having to deal with all of the packing/unpacking required for weekend trips.

All I know is this weather is a tease. I thought about dewinterizing this past weekend, but I know it'll freeze quite a few more times. Come on spring!!

Yeah, we've owned these in the past and it'd be real hard to go back to a tent now.

The price on this unit isn't what we were told, but it's the same year/model/colors of the one coming in this week. The quad bunks and u-shaded dinette was on our list of wants. And all the used ones we've seen were around $15,000! So I don't mind spending another $2,000 and not having cum covered beds...
